I'm your mentor for all things starting and scaling your virtual assistant career and business. I know this phrase gets tossed around all too often when we’re trying to relate to our communities, but I do know how it feels to take a chance on the unknown and give it all I’ve got.
Being laid off from my corporate career at the beginning of 2020 left me with minimal choices and a dwindling income. If I’m honest (p.s. I always am), I cringed at the thought of returning to another unfulfilling corporate career.
So, with my bank account staring at me like, “girl what about these bills?!,”
I decided to create a life of time and financial freedom by taking my skills online and becoming a virtual assistant. Like you, I questioned if it would work, but once I saw all the opportunities and options in this never-ending and flourishing industry, my fears melted away.
I no longer wondered if it would work, but how I could quickly make it work for me (aka start the business, put client contracts into place, organize my work).
Three months in, and I had a roster full of clients, 8 to be exact, with seven thousand dollar months (more than 2x my monthly corporate salary). Over a year and nearly 100 students later, I’m grateful for the ability to package up my knowledge to help you start and scale your VA business, too!
